A Troika biscuit pottery cylinder vase. Height 38.5cm together with a smaller Troika biscuit pottery cylinder vase. (2) Bought from a storage barn in Carnyorth in the '80s by Peter Swanson. The following is taken from Ben Harris's and Lawrence Illsey's book 'troika 63-83' page 162. "Leslie was desperate for money and also sold all the unglazed biscuit ware that was left" "Some were put into storage in a barn at Carnyorth but disappeared when a mineshaft opened, swallowing half the barn and moulds."
