Please Note: All Lots In This Auction Are Not Available To View The canvas presents surface dirt and light craquelure throughout. There are small areas of flaking, notably to the forehead of the central figure, on the torso of the left figure, and to the right of the jug. There is a small pin-hole to the upper centre edge. A light horizontal scratch is present approximately 5cm from the upper edge. Inspection under UV reveals a cloudy green varnish and small areas of retouching in the areas of flaking paint, as well as an approximately 1cm restoration to the right of the stool in the lower left corner.
