The case having an urn shaped finial surmounted by two griffins above two painted columns and the dial with Roman numerals decorated with a female and cherub. The 8 day cylinder movement striking on a bell, numbered 5647, 12.7 and engraved initials AB in a star, possibly for Achille Brocot, 16 1/4"h x 11 3/4"w
