Robert 'Mouseman' Thompson (British, 1876-1975) of Kilburn. A solid, light oak bureau with adzed top and drop down desk shelf, revealing pigeon holes within. Shaker style sides with bevel edge detail, two over two drawers, termintating at octoganal feet. Signature mouse motif to both writing shelf supports. H92cm x W91cm x D49cm
Bureau in good overall condition. Drawers open and close freely, clean interiors. Mice are complete with no losses. No splits to carcass or scratches. Solid on it's feet. Light oak colour finish with evidence of sun bleaching to the right hand side. no key present. Likely dates to the second half of the 20th Century. Additional photos to follow.
