1966 Gibson ES-355 semi-hollow body electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 3xxxxx1; Finish: cherry, minor checking, minor dings, finish rubbing to treble side of neck, back of head refinished for an unknown reason (no obvious neck breaks that we can see), old Gibson vibrola holes filled; Fretboard: ebony; Frets: minor wear; Electrics: working, Patent number humbucker pickups, covers previously removed and crudely refitted and could suggest that the pickups have been rewound at some stage, some rewiring, varitone electronics still in place; Hardware: original Gibson vibrola removed and replaced with a Bigsby vibrato, later stop bar post also fitted giving various options (stop bar included within the case), loss to gold plating most significantly on the pickup covers; Case: original hard case; Weight: 4.50kg; Overall condition: fair
