£85
Chinese School, late 19th/20th century - a watercolour depicting birds among trees and flowering shrubs, 32" x 13"; together with a view of the great wall of China, signed and a modern embroidered picture (3)
The condition is very much original, the silk on which the Tree, Rick and Peonies example is painted on has some slight stains and slight foxing (Brown Spots) the silk or material is also wavy, causing us to think that it may have hung on a damp wall.
The more modern textile depicting the Birds and Mandarin Ducks is in good order throughout.
The third early 20th century piece which could easily be as late in date as the 1950’s or 60’s depicting The Great Wall, again has some slight staining in places and some fading may have also taken place but it is grey/blue tone anyway.
