A Victorian rosewood and marquetry inlaid work table The octagonal top inlaid with a bird within scrolling foliage, enclosing a fitted interior with red silk elements, above a shaped frieze with conforming inlay, the tapering octagonal drum with further marquetry birds and foliage, raised on three scroll supports. 42cm wide x 73cm high Wirswall Hall, Whitchurch, Shropshire. Condition:Two of the frieze panels have splits and small veneer losses. Interior fitting showing some wear with central knop missing and some loss to silk. One scroll support repaired.
