A 20thC artist's album of watercolours, pencil, ink and pastel drawings by Ivy Theresa Attwell (1898-1985), predominantly of male and female portraits, to include actors, comedians, entertainers, dancers, etc. Will Kings, Robert Beresford, Lorna Jermaine, Irene Raie, Ivy Desmond, Gus Elton, Sidney Jerome, Walter Barker, Fol de Rols etc. Book approx. 8" x 6 1/2"

Ivy Theresa Attwell (1898-1985) was an international artist, traveller, and chronicler of the 20th century. She was the great-niece of Mabel Lucie Attwell, the chairman of Devon Art Society and a member of Torquay Library and Art Committee. Attwell travelled on various cargo shipping routes around the world, observing local customs, traditions, people and nature.
