Eero Saarinen (Finland, 1910-1961) early production, mid-century 'Womb Chair' for Knoll International. Dating to the 1950s and imported to the UK from California. Newly upholstered in a Warwick wool blend 'Amatheon' range fabric. Fibre glass construction on black metal frame, terminating in chrome articulating feet. Upholstered cushions to the back and seat. Original upholstery fabric retained and present for provenance. H87cm x W98cm x D81cm
In excellent, brand newly reupholstered condition. No marks or rips to the fabric. Cushions plump. All four feet articulate correctly. Frame solid and sturdy with only minor wear to the frame, no dents. Original fabric present
