A SILVER MOUNTED TORTOISESHELL SNUFF BOX, mid 18th century, of rounded oblong form with a piquework panel to the hinged cover, with brass mounts, the interior enclosing a typed note 'Believed to be David Garrick's…', together with another fan pressed oval tortoiseshell snuff box, the hinged cover with applied silver panel engraved Joseph Wood, 1724, 3 1/2" wide, a cornelian hand seal (uncut), 2 1/4" long and a small Regency cylindrical box, the cover reverse painted on glass with a couple (4)

'Garrick's' good condition, seal very good, no chips or cracks. 1724 box has a crack running for mhinge to base with losses, small box good.
