An unusual antique carved oak throne chair with 1731 King George II related embroidery, the chair believed to be 17th century with later but contemporary to the date upholstery possibly relating to the act of union showing an entwined rose and thistle, known as "Floral Badge of Great Britain" originally used by Queen Anne after the Act of Union in 1707, one of a pair, 70cm wide x 130cm tall

Provenance: Previously housed in the collection of Chilton Church "St Mary The Virgin"
