David Norman - A contemporary late 20th century watercolour print on paper. The scene depicting the Grand Canal, Venice with the Santa Maria della Salute Roman Catholic church in the foreground. David Norman in an ex architectural illustrator and his skills in perspective and draughtsmanship are beyond question. His watercolours can portray the boldest of colours or the most subtle sun bleached tones in the manner of Sir William Russell Flint. He favours little towns in France, Italy and Spain working from sketches completed on his travels. Framed & glazed. Measures 92cm x 92cm.
