A peach sapphire and diamond set 18k white gold ring. The elongated cushion-cut sapphire is 7mm x 5mm, set in a four-claw mount, with a channel-set of two princess-cut white diamonds on each shoulder, 2mm x 2mm approx., plane shank, stamped 750, size N 1/2, weight 2.8g. CHRISTIE'S lot 151, sale 5209, 27 February 2007, South Kensington. The sapphire stone has minor chips on facet edges visible by 10x magnification only, with no visible damage to the diamonds, the metal shows slight abrasion, good used condition. The sapphire is 1.50approximately, the total weight of diamonds is 0.30ct approximately.
