Railway. B.R. Steam. The following lots are from the working photographic archive of John M.C. Healy. John Healy was a British railway author and historian. Over many decades he assembled and curated a large archive of railway photographs by leading photographers. This selection of approx. 109, black and white, postcard size prints, focuses on BR Steam on the ex Great Central main line in the 1960's.
Locations include Leicester Central, Woodford Halse, Brackley, Nottingham Victoria etc. The prints are from various sources, including: GCR Museum Arhive, H.C. Casserley, J.F. Clay and others. The majority of the prints are captioned. Copyright is not on offer. Sample illustrated.
