A Chinese White Metal Dragon Plaque with Inset Yuan Shikai Commemorative Coin -
A Chinese circular white metal plaque featuring a central inset coin. The obverse displays a finely detailed relief of two five-clawed imperial dragons amidst cloud motifs, encircling the central coin. The coin's obverse depicts a male portrait in profile, with visible text "中華民國開國紀念幣" (Republic of China Founding Commemorative Coin) and "壹圓" (One Yuan) above the portrait, and "MEMENTO" below. The reverse of the plaque features a different arrangement of two dragons, framing the central coin's reverse, which prominently displays "壹圓" (One Yuan) within a wreath and "中華民國" (Republic of China) below. The plaque's reverse also includes two circular perforations near the top edge.
