A Collection of Framed Artworks Depicting Hong Kong and Botanical Subjects
A collection of framed artworks consisting of original watercolours and limited edition prints. The group includes a large watercolour on paper of the Prince of Wales Building at H.M.S. Tamar, Hong Kong, featuring a naval patrol boat with hull number P1036, a helicopter, and harbour craft. This piece is inscribed H.M.S. Tamar 1982 and signed D. Addy in the lower right. Also present is an East Asian style botanical painting showing pink peonies and a bird within a circular mount, marked with a vertical column of four characters and a red square artist seal. The collection further contains a pair of smaller limited edition prints titled Repulse Bay and Hong Kong Harbour, numbered 12/250 and 8/250 respectively, both bearing pencil signatures. The works are presented in a variety of gilt metal and wooden frames with card mounts.
