A continental silver quaich, of octagonal form with flared sides, the exterior finely engraved with scrolling foliate panels enclosing classical figures, the interior planished, raised on a shaped pedestal foot cast with fruiting vine decoration, with pierced foliate scroll handles to either side, bearing pseudo hallmarks to base, handle to handle 18 cm, 8 cm high.
