1840/87 collection in Lighthouse printed album, comprehensive coverage with fine quality evident throughout. Line engraved includes 3x 4 margin 1d blacks, 2d blue with both red and black MX, each with close to good margins and some fine 1841 1d reds and 2d blues. Very fine perforated issues include SG21 with green and SG33 blue cancels, 2d SG20a, 27 and 36a with 4 margin 1/- and 3x 6d embossed. A lovely range of surface printed, many with cds, includes SG63 (Scots local cancel), 66, 69, 92 and 94 with cds, 76/7, 89/90, 98, 101, 110, 112/4 (each with used abroad pmk), 120, 152/4 and 156. Some high values include 5/- pl 1 with cds, 10/- SG128 fine used, £1 SG129, 1883 2/6d (fine mint) and 10/- with cds, £1 Orbs SG186 and £1 SG212 (cds). A superb collection.
