A Victorian silver child's rattle, maker Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham, 1865: with whistle, knopped cylindrical body with embossed foliate decoration, five bell suspensions to one knop and three bells to the other, having a red coral teether, 11cm long, another similar rattle 12.5cm long and two silver and mother-of-pearl teethers.
