Mid 1970s Gibson J-45 Deluxe acoustic guitar, made in USA; Back and sides: mahogany, light buckle marks and scratches; Top: sunburst finished spruce, some lacquer clouding to the edge of lower bout, some chips to top binding; Neck: mahogany; Fretboard: rosewood; Frets: good, refret; Hardware: good; Case: contemporary hard case; Overall condition: good
Guitar generally in good condition for the age. Some dings, scuffs and marks, but nothing major. Some gassing starting to show in the binding, but probably one of the better examples I have seen in terms of binding condition. The top is flat and neck straight. Action good and appears that it will be a good player. Plenty of life left in the frets, although it does appear to have been refretted.
