WW2 RAF Mk.IV Flying Goggles. A good early pair of the earlier Mk.IV flying goggles. Brass frames with a black painted finish. Complete with both elastic ear loops and leather sprung loaded adjustment strap and buckle. Original lenses remain in situ alothough they have chipped slightly, remain good and clear. These differ from the later Mk.IVb in respect that hinged lense holders keep the glass in place and each eye piece are seperate componants, two per lense. The face cushions have hardened as they usually do centre leather piece is in situ. The leather tab is stamped ith the AM and crown with the stores code 22C/111 and the makers 'Levers Optical'. Nice early set of seldom seen goggles. Good displayable condition.
