A LARGE GERMAN PORCELAIN MIRROR FRAME, mid 19th century, the typical rococo scrolls encrusted with flowers and painted with two female figures, the cartouche surmount painted with a half length portrait, possibly Augustus III, the apron with the Polish coat of arms, fixed onto an ebonised wood back, apparently unmarked, external dimensions 38" x 22" (Illustrated) (Est. plus 21% premium inc. VAT)

Damages, repairs and losses throughout. Some quite large not contemporary screws very visible especially on apron. Portrait panel sadly cracked and repaired. There is a script 25 painted on the reverse of one of the bottom scrolls
