Britannia Depicta, or Ogilby Improved, being an actual survey of all the direct and principal cross roads of England and Wales, compiled by John Owen with road and county maps engraved by Emanuel Bowen, 1764, 273 pages of maps with ten pages of tables and title page, superb dark impressions of maps, one tiny burn mark on page 3, otherwise exceptional condition, leather binding, ex Frank Staff Library (book plate). A rare volume in this quality, signed in pencil by Brian Lillywhite.
