Sven BERLIN (1911-1999) Crab Connemara marble and coral Monogrammed and dated '77 Height 11.5cm, length 30.5cm Exhibited - The Wimborne Bookshop - 1981 - the following note was written by the artist to accompany the description 'This is one of the most ancient of created forms flattened by the weight of the sea during its journey through millions of years. In this sculpture it is also a portrait of Tennyson Down on the Isle of Wight worn smooth by the wind and rain.'
