An Ultra Rare Audie Murphy Signed Photograph! Audie Leon Murphy (20 June 1925 – 28 May 1971) was an American soldier, actor, and songwriter - He became a national hero during World War II as the most decorated combat soldier of the war. Among his 33 awards was the Medal of Honour, the highest award for bravery that a soldier can receive. In addition, he was also decorated for bravery by the governments of France and Belgium, and was credited with killing over 240 German soldiers and wounding and capturing many more.
Taken on the set of the 1958 film 'The Quiet American' which he starred in with Michael Redgrave. It is a personal message signature to the films continuity editor Elaine Schreyeck. This would make a fascinating addition to any film memorabilia collection. 23 x 18cm.
