Rare South East of Scotland Artillery Territorial Officers Home Service Helmet, fine blue cloth officers home service helmet with gilt Royal Artillery helmet plate having laurel spray replacing the motto and lower scroll with ‘THE SOUTH EAST OF SCOTLAND ARTILLERY’. Side rosettes supporting the linked chin chain. Cruciform spike base with ball top. Tan leather sweatband with quilted white cloth lining to the interior. Generally a very good condition and scarce home service helmet.
