Oscar WILDE (Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde (1854-1900), als to Alsager VIAN (Alsager Richard Vian 1863-1924, Editor Court & Society Review), undated 1886/7, folded octavo, on headed notepaper, four pages of text, hand written Private, 16, Tite Street, Chelsea, S.W. My Dear Vian How bad the Eastern paragraph is! I could have done you a column on it. And it should be done well and what does Lady Colin mean by ''the Shirtless Sisterhood''? Even Town Talk would hardly use such an expression. I see she requires very careful supervision if she is to continue to write. Particularly as people seem to know that Pollock is so outraged at her saying in Court that she wrote in the Saturday that he won't have any thing to do with her. I think you cd get the work better done by others - and the pub of Madame Isabel is too obvious and provincial - Till To night Yours truly, OW Lady Colin Campbell 1857-1911, born Gertrude Elizabeth Blood Walter Herries Pollock (1850-1926) English writer, poet, lecturer and journalist. He is best known as editor of the Saturday Review
