Cased pair of mid 19th century French Officers' percussion pistols, having rifled octagonal flared barrels, one inscribed with owner name and details 'E Millot, 2nd Hussars', the plates inscribed Mre Nle de Chatellerault, one numbered 1847 to the barrel, the other numbered 1848, both bearing further proof stamps various, having chequered wooden grips over iron cap plates with lanyard rings push concealing loading tool cavities, well presented in a fitted mahogany case with accessories including a bullet mould, copper powder flask and tools

The wooden grips with wear and markings to be expected on pistols of this age.
The two triangular shaped covers in the corners of the fitted case are both modern replacements.
