Two beautiful Daisy Budge (British 1914) prints on photographic paper of her original watercolours. Featuring views of the mountain 'Blavern from Skye'. Signed and titled in pencil to base with 'Croft Studio' gallery stamp to verso.
Daisy Budge (nee Jepson) born 1914 in Leeds, and a scholarship student at Leeds College of Art, first saw the Isle of Skye when sailing the west coast with her father. She loved it so much that she returned several times and later married islander, Roderick Budge of Dunvegan. When work took them to England, Daisy taught art in private schools for years, but her love of Skye remained strong and she retired to Skye in 1968 to open THE CROFT STUDIO.
