Sword: A good 1796 Pattern sword with a folding shell guard. Blade 32". Fading blue with gold engraving (stand of arms?). Engravings are faint but visible. Acorn finial to forward quillon. Excellent wirebound grip. Gilt stirrup guard and urn pommel. No scabbard. This is a good, untouched example of this iconic sword, in very good condition.
