A Derby pot pourri and cover, painted with figures and ruins in a Picturesque landscape, pine cone finial, lion paw feet, canted incurved base, 16cm high, red mark, c.1820; a Bloor Derby compressed ewer, encrusted with flowers and decorated in gilt, 14.5cm high, red crowned D mark, c.1830 (2)
The pot purri lid has major restoration, on punched hole frame, lacking gilding, lid topple has been repaired, showing dark line of where the breakage was. Two hairlines present on lid too.
The body of the vase shows signs of crazing and staining inside the bowl, minor chip to lip, lacking gilding around the outside border, especially embossed faces, crazing and chipped paint, four hairlines.Base lacking gilding and slightly crazed.
The compressed ewer has a border of worn gilding and chip to pinched lip, handle over gilded as well as lacking gilding, he flower missing, a few chipped.The whole body has minor crazing, worm gilded detail and chip flowers to body.
