1840-70 Line Engraved selection, mainly used, with a few covers, including 1d blacks (2, four margins, small faults), 1841 1d red plate 33 with margin at right, entire letters bearing 1841 1d reds greatly reduced at both sides prior to use (2, possible postal frauds, one cancelled "2" in Maltese Cross) or with four corners clipped before use (2), 1854 1d (S.G. 17) grossly misperforated tied to piece, similar misperforated 1d (2, S.G. 29) on cover and single 1d plates (4), 2d (S.G. 23) with inverted watermark, 2d plates with double perfs (2). Also a few Surface Printed including 1883 2/6 overprinted "SPECIMEN" (few upper perfs toned). A few faults but an interesting group. (138 + 5 covers). Photo on Page 38.
