** New information: This is an RB170 model banjo and was made as an open back. The internal resonator has been added by someone in the past; it didn't come from the factory that way. The serial number places its date of manufacture in 1961.
Although there do not appear to be any serious condition issues, the instrument does bear the scars of having been well played, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised
