Chief of the Air Staff 1977 to 1982 Blue flown cachet Flown in Victor K2 XM 715 from RAF Marham on an air to air refuelling sortie during which fuel was transferred to Tornado GR1, ZA 563. Personally Signed by Marshal of the Royal Air Force Sir Michael Beetham, G G F Draper 610 and 41 Sqn's. Battle of Britain Fighter Pilot. 30th October 1940 Shot down in Spitfire. Also 7 August 1941 was shot down over Fruge near Lille and Captured. He was released at the end of the War. Died 1997. W R Stevens 23 Sqn Air Gunner Blenheim Battle of Britain.
