A brass framed 48 bore flintlock boxlock pocket pistol, signed “H. Nock, London”, c 1820, 6" overall, turn off barrel 1-5/8", Birmingham proved, the frame engraved with trophies of flags and signed in oval panels, with top safety which also locks the frizzen, hidden trigger, and flat sided walnut butt with chequered top edge and rectangular escutcheon. GWO & C (patchy light rust to steel parts). Probably made by Samuel Nock but signed “H. Nock”. Plate 7 £200-250
