An early 19 century French white metal repeating pocket pocket watch, having 4.6cm domed enamel dial decorated Roman numerals and blued steel hands, dial and movement unsigned, key wind gilded verge movement, repeat activated by push down stem with stop start slide on side of case, case diameter 5.2cm, case rear and stem bearing hallmarks, case numbered 1474 and 27 853 and stamped with makers mark D C and star within lozenge.
