A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH STRIKE REPEATER BRASS CARRIAGE CLOCK. the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm dial to an eight day movement striking to a gong, the gilt case with Corinthian columns and finely chased diamond pattern detail, height 20cm.
Does not run but does strike, appears overwound and balance wheel does not move, case and movement restored/cleaned, base plate replace, minor surface wear, hairline crack to dial.
