Star Lot: 'Pat Phelan (Irish, b.1927-2011)'. A bright original watercolour and gouache on paper painting by popular Irish portrait artist 'Pat Phelan' titled 'Royal Canal(Near Leixlip). Features a Dublin canal landscape scene. Signed lower right and dated 1978 to verso. Housed in a wood and gilt frame behind glass with handwritten dedication to verso reading 'To Betty With all our best wishes Nora and Pat'. Phelans landscaped proved popular at auction with simular selling for €400 at Whytes.
