A fine and impressive Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring, claw set with a mixed cushion-cut no heat Ceylon sapphire, sapphire approx. 10.80 carats, measuring approx. 12.95mm x 11.46mm x 7.97mm, of moderate blue and slightly included, (minor inclusions can be seen with the naked eye); grain set to each shoulder with three single-cut diamonds, (six in total), diamonds approx. 0.10 carat total, indistinct mark for 18ct, other indistinct marks, size K, 5.7grams; accompanied by a Gemstone Identification Report from Anchorcert Gem Lab, report number 327143/20069852, dated 21st November 2024, stating Natural Corrundum Sapphire, no evidence of heat treatment, Sri Lanka, (Ceylon); and a photocopy of a Valuation for Insurance by Birmingham Assay Office, dated 15/01/25 for £21,000.00.
