*An unusual Fender Stratocaster, purchased by the vendor from Norman’s Rare Guitars, California, USA, on 27th November 1998 as a “Used Fender Stratocaster with case.”

While the serial number indicates a 1991 production date and the overall specification suggests an American Standard model, this guitar presents several notable anomalies. The neck is fitted with a non-standard Wilkinson roller nut—typically found on higher-end Strat Plus and Ultra models. The body, featuring a “swimming pool” rout, is date-stamped 1994 and appears consistent with mid-1990s American Standard production. The electronics comprise what appear to be Custom Shop pickups, paired with potentiometers dated 1996. The neck heel date stamp is unfortunately illegible.
