A pair of French porcelain comports of pedestal basket form probably late19th century, having typical square bases, raised on pedestal to reticulated basket, white with gilt highlights, one marked with gold 'xx', 8½in. (21.6cm.) diameter, 7½in. (19cm.) high. (2) *One restored to a third of upper rim and having gilt rim touch-up, other with rubbing etc.
