A fragment of The LZ-72 Type R "Super Zeppelin" airship which was shot down by a British fighter on 2nd October 1916 near Potters Bar. Captained at the time by Kapitan Leutnant Helmut Mathy, who perished with his entire crew. The crew are buried in the Germany military cemetary at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire.
