George Fullard ARA (1923-1973) was a celebrated British post-war sculptor who trained at the Royal College of Art. His work is sometimes associated with the informal Geometry of Fear group, which also included Lynn Chadwick, Reg Butler, and Kenneth Armitage. Wounded in World War Two, Fullard's expressionist bronzes, found object assemblages and drawings often feature wartime and maritime themes and can be seen in a number of national collections as well as around his native Sheffield, Yorkshire.
