AN IMPRESSIVE 17TH/18TH CENTURY JAPANESE IMARI HALL VASE WITH LATER LIGHT FITMENT the shouldered ovoid body decorated in gilt highlighted polychrome colours with blooming chrysanthemum branchwork in fenced bamboo and mushroom-topped flowerhead panels to the foot embellished with cranes perched and in flight; the upper shoulder and neck with matching reversed panels to the foot - with later gilt brass light fitting.
