A CHINESE HANGING SCROLL OF INK RUBBING OF CURSIVE SCRIPT, 20TH CENTURY

An ink rubbing of Chinese cursive script (草书), characterized by free-flowing, dynamic brushstrokes that convey the artist’s mastery and expressive style. The calligraphy is executed in rich variations of ink tone on a dark background, creating a striking visual contrast. The scroll is mounted with delicately patterned silk borders, enhancing its elegance. A red seal and the artist’s signature are visible at the lower left, in keeping with traditional calligraphic conventions.
