in turquoise wool / silk mix type fabric, the coat with full length sleeves and diamanté belt detail, trimmed to edges and sleeves in ostrich feather, the sleeveless dress, embellished to bodice, with diamantés, rhinestones and beads, trimmed to hem with ostrich feathers, both pieces bearing 'Jean Varon' label to interior, dress waist flat approximately 30cm (2)
Cilla Black can been seen wearing this dress during a meeting with HM Queen Elizabeth II after her performance at the Royal Variety show in November 1969. The receiving guests also included Ronnie Corbett, Danny LaRue, Ginger Rogers and Tom Jones.
