Star Lot: A large original oil on canvas painting featuring Oscar Wilde's house and the Davenport hotel off Merion Square, Dublin signed by the Ukranian artist Tetyana Tsaryk and dated 2004. This work features the well known Dublin street in the impressionistic style and beautiful lighting Tsaryk is known for. Housed in adouble gilt frame and hand signed by artist bottom right and on reverse. 70 x 80 cm
Tsaryk moved to Ireland in 2001 and has since produced a large body of work which can be found in a number of Dublin galleries for high prices alongside numerous auction sales and exhibitions. Her works feature a broad variety of subjects, from landscapes and cityscapes to portraits and still-lifes.
