With an introduction by John Dreyfus.', The Fleece Press, 2000, 2 volumes, limited edition, one of a total edition of 300 copies, this one of 240 copies on Zerkall paper, quarter bound in cloth, printed title labels to spines, marbled paper covered boards, signed & inscribed presentation copy from Simon Lawrence, founder of the Fleece Press, to the editor of the book Brian North Lee (1936-2007), fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, expert and prolific author on bookplates “For Brian, with much gratitude for all your hard work over several years – Simon September 19th 2001”, and with Brian North Lee bookplates to front pastedowns of both volumes. Profusely illustrated with examples of the artist's work, including over 60 engravings, all but three printed from the wood, and around 60 line drawings and colour plates either tipped-in or printed as inserted sections, mostly full-page, many designs for dustjackets, bookplates, book illustrations, Christmas cards, postage stamps, etc, both volumes housed together in original slipcase
