A TRIO OF VINTAGE HARDWOOD WALKING CANES, (i) pale hardwood crook handled walking cane with simple silver collar. The silver collar with Makers marks for Kendall & Sons Ltd, Charles Street, Leicester; Bull Street, Birmingham; Holborn Bars, London EC1 (active 1923-1940). With white metal ferrule. (ii) carved hardwood walking cane with ebonised handle and white metal collar. The white metal collar, possibly silver with no silver or makers marks, features a vacant cartouche surrounded by decorative chasework. The shaft is finely carved with thistle, crown and belt, above serpent and foliate carvings. Dimensions: 89.4cm high approx. (iii) a hardwood crook handled walking cane with decorative white metal collar. The collar features oriental design in relief, no visible silver marks, one Chinese character mark. The walking cane features a dark stain to the wood and brass ferrule.
