** Made by Modernista for the Excelsior cigarette brand manufactured in Argentina from 1874. The pocket watches were to be presented to the company's best customers
Movement - currently functioning.
Dial - some tarnishing, the branded lettering has been rubbed/scratched from the dial, rubbing to the numerals and minute track, three screws to hold the dial in place are missing - these have been replaced with larger screws not in the original screw holes - see image.
Glass - light surface marks.
Hands - surface corrosion present.
Case - scratches to the cuvette from case opening, rubbing to the case sides, tarnishing to the case back and around the base of the stem, rubbing to the bow.
Crown - adjusting correctly.
